Nerve system is receptor based. The goal of the adjustment is to stimulate the greatest number of receptors in the shortest time possible with the proper line of force to correct the misalignment.
Subluxations, the traditional term for the joint misalignment, can also include areas of muscle or nerve dysfunction. Our typical protocols include assessment for these problems and specific treatments when necessary.
